Message So I'm on the 210 freeway here in SoCal minding my own business, heading into my old stomping grounds to go to the bank. The 210 is a huge freeway with many open lanes so when someone changes lanes rapidly for no reason, it catches my attention. I happened to notice this big white truck I had just changed lanes in front of, follow me through traffic a bit. Nothing fancy and it happens all the time. Some people want to check out the car, some recognize the plate (I still don't get that) and some are just tailgaters. Anyway, I flew over 3 lanes as carefully as I could to catch my exit since it was a tad more crowded than normal. Sure enough, this truck follows me. Okay, no big deal. I turn left and head up the hill. As I do, I notice the truck go left. Again, still not worried. I then change lanes to the right to prepare for a right turn on Foothill Blvd (a main street up here) and he does the same. Okay...it's a big street, it can't be that unusual that he wants to go that way. So I go down a few blocks with him behind me, somewhat looking like he was trying to get next to me. I get into the left turn lane after a minute or two to turn onto the street my bank is on. He, again, follows me.

Okay, this is the moment of truth as I was about to turn into the bank and this was not the normal entrance. If he turned in, then I was sure he was following me. Paranoid? Perhaps...but the paranoid will out-live everyone :) Sure enough, he makes the right turn. As I notice this, I jolt out the second entrance, bust a quick right, another right and go around the corner and turn off the car. I MUST go to the bank because I had to deposit a check so I decided to lay low for a bit, make a few calls and keep my eyes peeled. After about 10 minutes I go back, deposit my check and I'm on my way. Maybe it was a false alarm...but better to be safe, right?

Fast forward to yesterday. I get an email from Z1TRUTH. He asks me if I had a white truck following me the other day on the freeway and that he saw the whole thing. The title of his email is "Are you alright?" and he asks me if anything went down and if I was okay. I tell him that yeah, it was me and what a small world it is. I give him the run down I just told to you and laugh it off as total coincidence. I also tell him that I was fine and gave the guy the slip. Now fast-forward to today. Glenn (Z1TRUTH) emails me again...

...only this time he sends me this:

Ryan Ryan Ryan!

Just funnin with you bro! THAT WAS ME IN THAT "BIG WHITE STAKE BED"!!!!! Hey bro you gotta stop bein so paranoid!!!!! LOL!!!! I saw you pass me by and I saw your Z and said "Man that is cleeeeannnn!" Then I saw your licence plate and went SEEEEEEEDDDDDYYYYY!!!!!! I tried to get you attention over and over but to no avail! So when you started getting off the freeway I thought you knew it was me and were looking for a place to stop and talk. When you pulled into the bank I thought you would get out and say.... GLENN! But man.....I had to laugh when you disappeared cuz then I knew what you were thinkin then!!!! ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!

Glenn, you bastard! I am officially owned! Bahahahahaha! In my mind, I did the right thing...because in Cali you just NEVER know and having known two people get carjacked for their Zs (one recently on the forum), I wasn't risking it. I thought you guys might get a kick out of this =)
